Minimum 5-7 years experience in Purchasing and ERP systems required. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing purchasing strategies and just in time planning (JIT), carefully controlling inventory levels to meet production needs without interruption while minimizing expenditures, negotiating supplier contracts, pricing and shipments, and managing supplier relationships. Responsibilities include: Sourcing products considering multiple criteria; negotiating best quality at lowest price; managing inventory levels; creating purchase orders, reconciling with packing/invoicing; managing receiving and inspection procedures and controls; communicating regularly with production team; managing supplier controls and communications. Qualified candidates will have: • Documented record of cost savings in manufacturing • Excellent negotiating skills • Excellent communication skills. • Experience with ERP systems • Experience in Lean Manufacturing model • Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred, but not required Location: Altoona-Johnstown Area Compensation: $20/hour, commensurate with experience Principals only.
