(d.b.a.: United Express) Job Summary: The Station Agent is a working member of the Station Team supporting the ground operation of the airline. Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, prepare and issue tickets, check baggage and collect excess baggage charges. Duties at the ticket counters and/or boarding gates when enplaning and deplaning passengers. Escort passengers from the terminal to and from aircraft. Loading and unloading of cargo on and off aircraft. Clean and service cabin interiors. Provide hand signals to arriving/departing aircraft. Drive automobile, trucks, busses, and tugs. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Lead Agent. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Valid Driver''s License Ability to life 70 pounds Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Special Requirements: Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Some travel may be necessary. Must possess valid drivers license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
