AJ Vacancy by http://albuquerquejobz.blogspot.com Electrical Maintenance Technician or Engineer-rotating shift (Greater Pittsburgh, PA) 10 Jun 2011, 4:14 pm Electrical Maintenance Technician or Engineer 21 turn rotating work schedule (7-3, 3-11, 11-7) Provide technical support to electrical maintenance department in evaluating and solving maintenance issues for all production operations as scheduled over a twenty-one turn rotation. Assist: Shift Maintenance & Production Personnel. Assist in: Maintaining, revising and upgrading plant electrical systems & program PLC's, HMI's, controls. Maintain and upgrade combustion, and air compressor systems, & coordinate planning schedules. Provide technical support for operating environments and ensure contractors and visitors comply with safety procedures. Coordinate work activities with approx. 3-5 Shift Technicians, the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, and Various Attendants. Promote an environment that fosters teamwork and open communications. Promote and participate in Safety program. Work a twenty-one turn rotation schedule. AEE's work some holidays and at least three out of four weekends per month. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, PLC programming knowledge either Allen Bradley or Siemens. Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic programs. Ability to read one-line diagrams. Desirable: Experience trouble shooting AC/DC variable speed drives & DC Cranes. 3-5 years experience in an industrial environment ideal. Compensation: Highly Competitive base salary based on applicable skills, qualifications, and experience. Bonus: Up to 6% *Last year otheres in this positon averaged a $50k base, 6% bonus, and with OT had total compensation in the high $60K's to low $70K's!! *Non-exempt salary position, eligible for overtime (time and one-half) over 40 work hours Retirement Savings Plan: 401(k) Retirement Savings and Profit Sharing Plan. Participants are able to contribute up to the maximum governmental limit. Contributions are matched dollar for dollar to a maximum of 5% of eligible compensation.
