PHP Developer Sep 6th 2011, 20:18 We are looking for someone to work mainly on web development projects, with an emphasis in PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript. We would like a developer who knows the current landscape of open source frameworks, social APIs, and mobile apps. This individual should be immersed in the latest ideas around website management and client-side technology. Responsibilities * Develop code primarily in PHP, HTML, CSS and JS. * Design web applications with scalability in mind * Implement features that improve customer experience and usability * Participate in application testing in multiple platforms * Collaborate with technical and non-technical employees * Create testing and quality assurance checks of all code and projects * Provide ongoing maintenance of existing projects and infrastructure * Interface with team at a professional level Required Skills * Advanced PHP/MySQL development * Expert knowledge of HTML/Javascript/JQuery/CSS essential * Knowledgeable and comfortable working in LAMP stack * Expert on front end technologies, interface design and integration * Experience writing queries extracting and manipulating data in databases * Skills in software graphics manipulation and web programming * Ability to work in a fast- paced team-oriented environment Additional Skills * Knowledge of web development for iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices * CMS experience with open source software such as WordPress * Knowledgeable in main social networking APIs * Knowledge of mobile platforms and games a plus * Knowledge of international web standards and protocols Experience * 4+ years in web development * Computer Science or related field degree. BS/BA/MS preferred.
